Publication Ethics
BATARA DIDI : English Language Journal is a peer-reviewed journal that is accessible in print and online and published bianually. The code of conduct is intended to provide a set of minimal standards to which all parties engaged are required to conform. It applies to everyone who is engaged in the publishing process, including the author, the editor in chief, the Editorial Board, the reviewer, and the publisher/managers of Celebes Scholar pg. This statement is based on the Committee on Publication Ethics' (COPE) recommendations.
Fair play
An editor may examine papers at any time for their intellectual value, regardless of the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic background, citizenship, or political ideology.
Confidentiality
The editor and any editorial staff members must not disclose any information about a submitted article to anybody other than the corresponding author, reviewers, prospective reviewers, other editorial advisors, and the publisher, as appropriate.
Disclosure and conflicts of interest
Unpublished materials described in a submitted paper must not be utilized in the editor's own study without the explicit written approval of the author.
Duties of Reviewers
Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Peer review aids the editor in making editorial decisions, and through editorial communications with the author, peer review may also assist the author in making improvements to the article.
Promptness
Any assigned referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process.
Confidentiality
Manuscripts submitted for review must be handled with the utmost confidentiality. They must not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.
Standards of Objectivity
Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal remark to the author is inappropriate. Referees should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Acknowledgement of Sources
Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation. A reviewer should also call to the editor's attention any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper of which they have personal knowledge.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Peer-reviewed material and ideas must remain secret and not be utilized for personal gain. Reviewers should avoid submissions in which they have competing, collaborating, or other ties or affiliations with any of the authors, corporations, or institutions associated with the articles.
Duties of Authors
Reporting standards
Authors of original research papers should include an accurate explanation of their work as well as an impartial evaluation of its importance. The underlying data should be appropriately reported in the study. A paper should provide enough information and references to enable others to duplicate the work. False or wilful incorrect remarks are unethical and unacceptable.
Originality and Plagiarism
The authors should guarantee that their works are fully unique and that any work or words mentioned or quoted from others are properly cited or quoted.
Multiple, Redundant or Concurrent Publication
Author should avoid publishing manuscripts reporting essentially the same study in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same article to more than one journal at the same time is considered unethical publishing behavior and is thus unacceptable.
Acknowledgment of Sources
It is always necessary to give proper credit when credit is due to others' efforts. Authors should identify publications that have had an impact on determining the nature of the reported study in their manuscripts and reports.
Authorship of the Paper
Authorship should be limited to individuals who made a substantial contribution to the study's idea, design, implementation, or interpretation. Co-authors should include everyone who made a substantial contribution. Where others have contributed to the research project's substantial features, they should be thanked or mentioned as collaborators. The corresponding author should ensure that the manuscript has all suitable co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors, that all co-authors have viewed and approved the final version of the paper, and that all co-authors have consented to the work's submission for publication.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
All authors should declare any financial or other material conflict of interest that might be regarded as influencing the findings or interpretation of their paper in their manuscript. All funding sources for the project should be mentioned.
